H. Raymond Bingham has served as a TriNet chairman since 2008. He is a Chairman of General Atlantic LLC, a global private equity firm with more than $15 billion under management, and serves as co-head of its Palo Alto office.
Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2006, Bingham has served as chairman and chief executive officer at Cadence Design Systems, the world’s leading electronics design automation (EDA) software company. Previous to that, he held various senior executive management roles with the Marriott Corporation, Red Lion Hotels and Inns, Agrico Overseas Investment Company, and N–ReN International.
In addition to TriNet, Mr. Bingham currently serves as a director for Oracle Corporation, Flextronics International Ltd., and STMicroelectronics. He has served as a member of The Business Round Table, Chairman of the Board of the Electronic Design Automation Consortium (EDAC), and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group.
Mr. Bingham earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Weber State University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Additionally, he was awarded an honorary doctorate of humanities from Weber State University.
