TriNet Donates $50,000 to Two Education Non-Profits
HR outsourcing vendor gives $25,000 each to clients Silicon Valley Education Foundation and Princeton House Charter School.
SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (December 21, 2009) TriNet, a provider of payroll, benefits and human resources outsourcing solutions to small businesses, today announced two $25,000 donations to non-profit clients in the education space: the Silicon Valley Education Foundation in San Jose, and the Princeton House Charter School in Orlando, Fla. The donation is in response to the success TriNet’s referral program achieved this past year; 20 percent of TriNet’s new clients in 2009 came through this program. In recognition of the support its current clients have provided toward the company’s new business, TriNet is making the donation in their names.
“For our country to be a competitive player in the global economic market, investment in future generations is critical,” said Burton M. Goldfield, TriNet’s President and CEO. “We had such a tremendous response to our referral program that we wanted to thank those who participated with an investment made with an entrepreneurial spirit in mind, and looked toward our clients who help develop and educate children.”
SVEF is the leading education foundation serving the students, families and teachers of Silicon Valley. TriNet will serve as the anchor sponsor to SVEF’s sixth annual Pioneers & Purpose Gala next spring. Those interested in donating alongside TriNet may do so here: http://svefoundation.org/svefoundation/donate/.
“TriNet’s generosity is an amazing gift in this difficult economic climate,” said Muhammed Chaudhry, SVEF’s CEO. “We work in Silicon Valley to ensure our students are prepared for success in college or in their careers. Now is a critical time to invest in our schools because the heart of U.S. innovation is at risk.”
The Princeton House is a charter school that works with children with autism and other related developmental disabilities. Those interested in donating alongside TriNet or sponsoring PHCS’s 13th annual Gala in March may do so here: http://www.princeton-house.org/Fundraiser.htm.
“TriNet’s donation is going to change the lives of many children,” said Carol Tucker, PHCS’s executive director. “In a year when non-profits are struggling everywhere to secure funds, we are grateful for TriNet’s commitment to our teaching curriculum that crosses physical, intellectual, social and emotional disciplines.”
TriNet’s referrals grew 69 percent this past fall season and the thank you cards TriNet sent to program participants this week are made of post consumer recycled paper embedded with wildflower seeds so they can be planted. About Princeton House Charter School
Princeton House opened its doors 14 years ago to children with autism and other related developmental disabilities. This year PHCS is working with 250 children, ages 3-20, who require an intensive intervention program of speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and behavior therapy. These special children are making gains that no one ever thought possible—learning to read and write, to communicate, to play. The school relies on fundraising and provides in three areas: early intervention preschool focusing on acquisition skills in language, social skills and behavior modification; an intensive intervention program for moderate/severe children with autism; and a middle/high school program for children seeking special diplomas with focus on functional living and job skills.
