I started out in college as a pre-med thinking that I wanted to be a pediatrician. My junior year, I decided that organic chemistry was not the thing for me and so made the move into business as an investment banker in New York. But then really got pulled into wanting to do more operations. It's been a long and winding road and couldn't be more thrilled to be sitting here today as the president of Ultra.

Ultra Mobile offers cost effective prepaid wireless plans for immigrants calling home to their home countries here from America. One of the ways we've done that is really focusing on really making free calling internationally the hallmark of our plans. That's allowed us to have explosive growths. As we grow our top line, one of my biggest challenges is making sure that the bottom line grows as well. So, in doing that, we looked for HR solutions providers to help really give us that chance to grow and grow effectively. TriNet was a great partner for us. In the last 90 days alone, we've brought aboard over 20 people, integrated them seamlessly into the organization in 17 different states. We knew that we were going to be 50 state compliant with all HR regulations and it's just a peace of mind that I have as a leader knowing that that's happening in the background, we just can focus on what we do in our core business. We've also had the chance to get Fortune 100 style benefits for a company that's still, on a relative basis, pretty small, and with the Affordable Care Act and raising health care costs, it was important for us to be able to keep costs low so that we could attract the best people in the market.

When you look at your HR department as an asset, as a real way to build your organization in a world-class way, it really changes the way you approach culture. So making sure Ultra looked the same no matter where we were was key for me and continues to be an asset for us going forward. While we were named fastest growing company in America this year, our goal is to create a fast but sustainable company for the future. And so, having a partner like TriNet that's going to enable us to do that quickly, smoothly, and cost-effectively is going to be key for us to grow this business beyond where we are today.
