TriNet helps to support the core business goals of its customers and provides for increased management of their internal resources by way of two unique, completely scalable, and comprehensive HR related product services depending on the size of the organization. TriNet provides web-based self-service features for managers and employees via a secure
portal, HR Passport™, and a back-end HRIS platform powered by Oracle-PeopleSoft. Smaller companies rely on our co-employment offering, TriNet Focus™ to provide payroll, benefits, recruiting, online training, and strategic HR consulting. Offering more than simply HR administrative services, the co-employment relationship enables customers to delegate selected employer-related responsibilities regarding compliance and risk management. Larger companies use our non co-employment offering, TriNet Vision™ to integrate their existing HR administration and benefits through one expert provider and a single, powerful technology platform.
Offices
TriNet's corporate office is located in the San Francisco Bay Area in San Leandro. It has an additional service center located in Reno, Nevada, as well as regional offices in Southern California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, Texas, Virginia, and Toronto, Canada.

TriNet is a privately held company that secured an equity investment in 2005 from General Atlantic LLC, a leading global private equity firm with over $17 billion under capital management. General Atlantic (www.generalatlantic.com) now serves as the company's majority stakeholder, and focuses its investments in companies providing or using information technology to drive growth. Founded in 1980, General Atlantic has invested in over 160 companies and has current holdings in over 50 companies, of which nearly one-half are based outside the United States. Industry Associations
TriNet is an active and accredited member of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations, also known as NAPEO (www.napeo.org). Formed in 1984, NAPEO is the national trade association for the PEO industry, and promotes education and training programs, a code of ethics and a number of best practices to its nearly 400 member companies operating in all 50 states.
Certifications
In addition to an annual financial audit conducted by Ernst & Young (www.ey.com), TriNet is audited on a quarterly basis by the Employer Services Assurance Corporation (www.esacorp.org). ESAC is a non-profit organization providing independent application and monitoring of important areas such as ethical, financial, and operational requirements and responsibility standards for companies performing outsourced employer services. TriNet is one of only six PEO firms to receive continuous accreditation since the ESAC's founding in 1995.
