TriNet Group Receives Two Prestigious Awards at National Trade Event

CI and ESAC Bestow Industry Accreditations to HRO at Annual NAPEO Conference

Alexandria, Va. (September 16, 2004) — TriNet Group, a leading provider of HR outsourcing services, recently received two prestigious industry awards that recognize the company as having achieved the highest levels for specific performance practices as verified by two independent certification organizations.

TriNet is one of very few HR providers to receive a "Tax & Benefits Payment Certification" from the Certification Institute (CI), an independent nonprofit corporation that promotes industry professionalism and Best Practices in the professional employer organization industry. TriNet was also recognized for the company's accreditation by the Employer Services Assurance Corporation (ESAC), the nationally recognized entity for providing financial assurance and establishing responsibility standards and certification for HR service providers.

"We are very pleased but not entirely surprised to receive these accreditations," said Martin Babinec, TriNet president and CEO. "They clearly demonstrate TriNet's ongoing drive, commitment and accomplishments in regard to service quality and industry Best Practices."

Both awards were presented during an annual conference of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO) earlier in 2004. The conference brought executives together with federal and state regulators and legislators to discuss legal and legislative issues, including best practices for the industry.

TriNet underwent a rigorous examination by the CI and ESAC to achieve the awards. CI independently verified that the company meets its tax and benefits obligations in a timely and appropriate matter. To achieve ESAC accreditation, TriNet must continuously demonstrate ethical conduct, financial stability, and operational performance meeting rigorous industry standards. Much like the guarantee of the FDIC, ESAC is the only professional business program for the HR outsourcing industry that offers a surety bond, currently worth $4 million. Only 19 HR providers to date have achieved this accreditation.
