TriNet's HR Services Enable Regus to Manage Multi-State Benefits and Payroll
SAN LEANDRO, CA. (OCTOBER 10, 2002) - TriNet, a provider of online and in-person human resources (HR) solutions, today announced that it has helped Regus (NASDAQ: REGS), the world's leading operator of business centres, successfully cut costs and streamline its benefits and payroll procedures. TriNet's integrated HR services have reduced Regus' HR-related budget while improving the company's ability to administer a 500+ employee workforce spread across multiple states.
TriNet's secure portal allows Regus' in-house HR staff to manage its workforce using web-enabled desktop computers. Authorized users can submit payroll hours from any location, hire and terminate employees, download reports, and update employee data. All of Regus' employees can enroll in benefits, maintain their personal information, view their paychecks, and manage direct deposits online.
"TriNet's online service is perfect for our multi-state needs," said Rick Livingston, Staffing Manager for Regus. "Our HR department used to spend an exorbitant amount of time on administrative procedures such as faxing and data maintenance. By outsourcing our benefits and payroll to TriNet, we've reduced our overall costs while providing better service to our employees."
"As the global leader of outsourced office space, Regus understands the positive impact outsourcing non-core functions can have on a company," added John Mlynski, Regus' Group Chief Operating Officer. "TriNet allows Regus to effectively manage our HR program using their state-of-the art technology and best-in-class processes-resulting in controlled administrative costs, improved use of our internal resources, and enhanced employee service and satisfaction."
"Companies like Regus will increasingly seek out vendors that can provide a single point of contact for all of their HR-related functions," said Martin Babinec, TriNet's President & CEO. "Outsourcing to TriNet allows Regus to retain a tight focus on its core business. It also prevents the company from investing millions on the licensing, installation, and maintenance of an in-house HRIS system."
Regus business centers in 77 locations across the United States are leveraging TriNet's benefits, payroll, and HR services under a multi-year contract.
