TriNet Extends Human Capital Services to the Midmarket
Summer quarterly product release delivers customized and integrated HR solutions for midmarket companies as well as clean-tech, software and banking industries.
SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (August 2, 2010) – TriNet, the country’s largest private provider of human resources outsourcing solutions to small businesses, today announced it is extending its human capital services with TriNet Midmarket, a new solution designed for companies with more than 100 employees. The company also introduced complete solutions built specifically for the clean-tech, software and banking industries.
The midmarket segment has been mostly void of a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) solution, as many services tend to be created for large enterprises or boutique-style shops with a handful of employees. TriNet now provides midmarket organizations a complete solution without the headaches of a complex implementation. The solution combines TriNet’s powerful platform with tools and services for performance management, compensation strategy, employee training, professional development, competitive benchmarking and operations visibility.
“Small and medium-sized businesses face the same challenges as top-performing companies – growing their client base, keeping employees motivated and complying with industry and government regulations,” said Burton M. Goldfield, TriNet’s president and CEO. “As businesses grow, they need more powerful tools to build and manage their most important resource – human capital. As the market continues to improve, we anticipate many of our current clients growing their business into the midmarket category. We’re here to grow with them and offer the same benefits they’ve come to expect from us.”
TriNet will also offer integrated solutions specifically designed for the clean-tech, software and banking verticals. These industries will now benefit from the combination of TriNet’s core technology and Human Capital Consultants with carefully customized and integrated services for hiring, compensation, performance management and risk mitigation.
“Organizations may have similar goals, but each industry has very different requirements to achieve these objectives,” added Jack Midgley, TriNet’s vice president of products. “TriNet Industry Solutions for clean-tech, software and banking provide highly customized programs that target the specific needs of each industry.”
TriNet for CleanTech
Clean-tech organizations need an eco-friendly solution that eliminates the headaches of complying with government regulations so they can continue to move their operations forward and focus on growing their businesses. These organizations also want to reinforce a set of strategic objectives that balance business growth with their impact on the community and environment.
TriNet for CleanTech includes a performance management system designed to measure team and individual contributions to a “triple bottom line” – of profits, people, and environment – as well as a culture assessment to build a productive and socially responsible working environment. TriNet for CleanTech is built on a paperless, web-based platform that closely aligns with the values of clean-tech companies.
TriNet for Software
Recent developments in SaaS, virtualization and mobile technologies have created new development, sales and support requirements for software companies. These businesses are known for their speed of innovation – but maintaining a common direction across a disparate organization of sales, development and quality assurance teams can challenge even the best companies.
TriNet for Software delivers specialized human capital services and technology that enable software companies to maintain organizational focus and measure team and individual contributions toward company goals. The solution also includes valuable online training and in-person workshops to develop new skills and leadership qualities among employees. Each of these services is customized to fit the unique business requirements of software companies to minimize disruption during rollout and maximize efficiency and productivity in everyday use.
TriNet for Banking
The banking industry is one of the most highly regulated industries in the United States. Regular audits, required employee training and compliance documentation place a significant administrative burden on every bank. Smaller banks face even more pressure, as they must follow the same compliance requirements of much larger banks, but with very limited resources.
TriNet for Banking delivers specialized HR services and technology to maximize the productivity of banks by reducing the compliance burden and aligning the activities of service-focused employees. The solution supports compliance and employee development with an online training library that includes courses from the American Bankers Association, as well as a Human Capital Assessment that identifies potential sources of compliance or legal risk in workplace or employment practices. The solution also includes a workplace ethics program with anonymous incident reporting online or by telephone.
This quarterly release also includes TriNet Paycheck Calculators and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 2.0, which will be available to all clients as part of their core services. Paycheck Calculators are available immediately, while FSA 2.0 will be rolled out October 1 when the new benefits plan year gets underway. These offerings help employees maximize their income as well as their health-care dollars while making internal administration more efficient for businesses.
