TriNet Strengthens Customer Experience with New Human Capital Services Team

HR outsourcing partner promotes Patrick Villella to vice president as company evolves to meet ever-changing client needs.

SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (April 19, 2011) – TriNet, the country’s largest private provider of human resources outsourcing solutions to small businesses, today announced the reformation of the field operations organization to enhance the customer support TriNet provides its 5,000 small business clients. The company’s Human Capital Consulting team will now report to Patrick Villella, a newly appointed vice president who will further represent clients’ interests at the executive table by sharing areas for improvement, challenges within customers’ businesses and the solutions they’re looking for to address those challenges, and how the company is aligning its services to meet clients’ needs.

“At the end of the day, you want to know your partners are listening to you,” said Neil Rudd, chief financial and administrative officer from NXT Capital, a commercial finance company based in Chicago. “TriNet’s effort to connect with us on a deeper, more strategic level shows that they want to understand our business goals and deliver solutions for our human capital needs that will contribute to our growth and success.”

Two new roles were created to support the new effort: Villella will serve as vice president while Debra Squyres was named executive director. Villella was most recently a general manager for the company’s East Region and has 10 years industry experience, while Squyres was most recently a human capital director for the company’s Southwest Region and has been an HR professional for 19 years.

“Separating out our services team strengthens our ability to remain a client-centric organization because it reduces the number of employees between the customer and the c-suite and it allows for the specialization of our products and services to key verticals,” said Villella. “This is a metamorphosis for our company and it’s a revolutionary shift within our industry; this move will help us empirically shape the companies we serve.”

“We are excited to hear of this initiative to further enhance our partnership with TriNet,” said Francis Chow, CFO of Chronicity, a health care services provider for chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia, fatigue and ADD/ADHD. “TriNet’s continued emphasis on client service signifies their dedication to helping in the success of their clients’ businesses.”

TriNet leads the industry with its accomplished team of Human Capital Consultants who identify and resolve human capital issues on a proactive basis. Through the company’s strategic services offerings, TriNet also boasts specialized experts within its HCC ranks, such as certified recruiters through its Talent Acquisition service.

TriNet also schedules a Human Capital Assessment for all new clients within their first 90 days; the 200-question survey dives toward a level of detail that allows TriNet to understand its clients’ HR and business needs so that, together, TriNet and its clients can implement a long-range Human Capital plan to ensure clients have the workforce strategy they need as their organizations grow.

“Our goal has always been to delight our clients with every interaction,” said Burton M. Goldfield, TriNet’s president and CEO. “Our organization will continue to evolve in order to meet the dynamic needs of our client base. I am particularly proud of these two internal promotions because Patrick and Debra exemplify the TriNet way.”
