Jacksboro National Bank Found Better Benefits and Excellent Service

Jacksboro National Bank is an independent, full-service community bank that first opened for business in 1905 with 3 employees, 9 depositors and over $9,000 dollars in initial deposits. Today, more than a century later, it continues to serve the community surrounding Jacksboro, Texas with a total of 45 employees, 2 locations, and a thriving array of products and services. By 2005, however, the bank was experiencing several challenges. First, they faced rising costs in regards to providing employee benefits. Second, there was a lack of flexibility and options in the benefits plans available to their employees, especially in terms of health insurance. Third, there was too much time spent doing repetitive administrative tasks and not enough time left for more strategic initiatives. The bank decided to outsource its HR function to TriNet in 2006, running its first payroll in November and never looking back. CFO Craig A. Anderle explains why they made the decision and what the immediate benefits of HR outsourcing were.

Expansive Benefits: the Right Benefit Plan for Everyone

“We have been using TriNet since 2006,” says Craig Anderle. “Upon our initial conversion to TriNet, we experienced a drastic reduction in the cost of providing benefits to our employees. We got much better health insurance plans including a range of coverage options to give our employees more flexibility. We were able to offer expanded benefits offerings.”

Decreased Admin Burden

“Apart from benefits plans, there was also the administrative burden,” says Anderle. “Outsourcing to TriNet significantly decreased the amount of time spent processing payroll, preparing payroll reports, paying payroll taxes, and more.”

Customer-Focused Service from Experts

“Also worth mentioning is the support they have provided for our personnel department,” says Anderle. “To name a few of the ways TriNet has supported our employees: TriNet has provided training at our facility, guidance on policies and job descriptions, and consultations on employee-related issues. TriNet is very customer-focused. They are always willing to help and they have the expertise to do the job right.”

Overall Recommendation

Anderle says: “Our experience with TriNet has been one of excellent customer service, timesaving processes, and money-saving products. I couldn’t imagine trying to attract and retain quality personnel without them.
