TriNet Event Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: June 8, 2026

These Event Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your registration for and participation in any event, program, or activity hosted or sponsored by TriNet Group, Inc. or its affiliates (“TriNet,” “we,” “our,” “us,” or the “Company”) (each, an “Event”). By registering for or attending an Event, you agree to these Terms, the TriNet Privacy Policy located here and any applicable event, platform, or venue specific terms (collectively “Agreement”). TriNet may update these Terms from time to time. Updates apply to future participation.

If you register on behalf of another person, including but not limited to any guests who may accompany you or be present at your invitation, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf and that you have made them aware of these Terms. For clarity, invited guests are subject to these Terms on the same basis as TriNet colleagues, including any waivers of rights or obligations as noted below.

1. Registration and Participation

You must register to attend an Event. For in-person Events, you may be required to present a badge, ticket, or confirmation for entry and may be subject to security screening upon entry or re-entry. Personal items may be permitted at TriNet’s discretion and, if allowed, may be subject to inspection.

Registrations are complimentary unless otherwise stated, have no cash value, and are non-transferable unless permitted by TriNet. TriNet may deny, suspend, or revoke participation at its discretion.

TriNet is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Any lost items turned in during the Event may be held for a limited time following the Event and may be donated or disposed of if unclaimed.

2. Use of Information and Communications

Your information will be handled in accordance with the TriNet Privacy Policy.

TriNet may use your contact information to:

  1. administer the Event (including confirmations and updates); and
  2. provide information about TriNet products and services, where permitted by law.

The information you provide may also be shared with TriNet’s third-party partners, sponsors, or presenters for follow-up communications and related purposes. You may manage your communication preferences with such third parties by using the unsubscribe or preference link included in their communications.

You may opt out of TriNet marketing communications at any time through the TriNet Communication Preference Center located here. Standard messaging rates may apply.

3. Recording and Use of Likeness

Events may be recorded, photographed, or streamed. By participating, you grant TriNet a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual right to use your name, likeness, voice, and statements captured during the Event for business and promotional purposes, without compensation or further approval.

4. Assumption of Risk and Health & Safety

Participation is voluntary. You acknowledge that attending an in-person Event may involve inherent risks, including risks related to travel, crowds, food consumption, and interaction with others, as well as risks associated with virtual Event, such as technology failures, unauthorized access, data privacy and security issues, and unintended sharing or recording of content.

You agree to:

  1. comply with applicable laws, venue rules, and TriNet instructions;
  2. follow all health and safety measures communicated by TriNet or the venue;
  3. not attend if you feel unwell or are otherwise unable to comply with these requirements; and
  4. safeguard your login information and not share access to the Event.

5. Medical, Food, and Alcohol Disclaimer

TriNet does not provide medical services. In the event of an emergency, TriNet may seek assistance on your behalf, but you are responsible for any associated costs.

If food or beverages are provided:

  1. TriNet does not guarantee an allergen-free environment;
  2. you are responsible for managing dietary restrictions or allergies; and
  3. outside food or beverages are not permitted at the Event unless otherwise authorized by TriNet.

If alcohol is served, you agree to consume responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws. TriNet may refuse service or remove you for unsafe behavior.

6. Code of Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  1. photograph, record, livestream, or distribute Event content without TriNet’s prior authorization;
  2. engage in harassment, discrimination, or disruptive or unsafe behavior;
  3. solicit business, promote services, or distribute unauthorized materials;
  4. bring prohibited items, including weapons or illegal substances;
  5. smoke or use vaping products of any kind, including electronic cigarettes, except in designated areas;
  6. engage in protests, demonstrations, petition signature gatherings, rallies, or similar activities;
  7. bring animals to the Event, except for service animals as permitted by applicable law, or other animals approved in advance by TriNet;
  8. attend the Event for press or media purposes without TriNet’s prior authorization;
  9. copy, record, or misuse any Event content; or
  10. violate applicable laws, venue policies, or instructions from TriNet staff.

TriNet may, in its sole discretion, immediately remove you from the registration or participation for any reason, including for non-compliance or behavior that could impact the safety, experience, or operations of the Event.

TriNet colleagues attending the Event are expected to follow TriNet’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, as well as all other applicable TriNet policies.

7. Intellectual Property and No Professional Advice

All Event content, materials, and presentations are owned by TriNet or its licensors and may not be copied, distributed, or used without our prior permission.

Event content is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, tax, finance, HR, or other professional advice.

8. Virtual Event Terms

Virtual Events may be hosted on third-party platforms and may require you to agree to their terms. Accessing a virtual Event from outside the United States is at your own risk, and you are responsible for compliance with applicable laws.

9. Third-Party Venues and Services

Events may take place at third-party venues or involve third-party providers. TriNet is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or policies of such third parties.

10. Changes, Cancellation, or Rescheduling

TriNet may modify Event details, including content, speakers, timing, format, or location.

TriNet may cancel or reschedule an Event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control or for experience, operational or safety reasons. TriNet is not responsible for any Event-related expenses and will not reimburse such expenses unless otherwise expressly agreed to in writing in advance.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TriNet and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the Event, including those related to travel, attendance disruptions, or access to or use of Event or third-party platforms.

TriNet’s total liability for any claim related to the Event will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TriNet and its affiliates from claims arising out of your:

  1. violation of these Terms;
  2. misconduct; or
  3. infringement of third-party rights.

13. Minors

Unless otherwise expressly permitted, Events are intended for individuals ages 18 and up. If you register a minor or bring a minor to an Event, you represent that you are the minor’s parent or legal guardian and accept full responsibility for their supervision, conduct, and compliance with these Terms. Where minors are allowed, they must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a parent or legal guardian.

14. Accessibility

You may contact TriNet in advance with accessibility or accommodation requests. TriNet will use reasonable efforts to address such requests.

15. Miscellaneous

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement regarding the Event and supersedes prior communications. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Nothing in these Terms modifies or supersedes any applicable TriNet colleague policies, which continue to apply to colleagues.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any disputes will be resolved in courts located in Alameda County, California.
